Volume IV: The Engines of Creation
Volume IV: The Engines of Creation is a tribute to the disciplines that took imagination and made it real; machines that move, structures that stand, and aircraft that defy gravity.
This set brings together three branches of engineering that turned theory into practice, sketches into steel, and ambition into infrastructure.
On the covers of each notebook are extracts and illustrations from the original works that defined modern engineering.
Early flight drawings, foundational mechanical concepts, structural designs that still hold today.
These aren’t just references - they’re the blueprints of progress.
We made this volume for people who don’t just admire ideas, but want to build them.
The cover takes its cues from early aviation: fine-line sketches, wing profiles, and the delicate geometry of lift.
Inspired by the pioneering work of the Wright brothers, whose work features on the front cover, it reflects a time when flight was still an experiment.
You’ll find drawings and technical illustrations from the earliest days of aviation - when controlled flight was just beginning to take shape.
A darker, industrial-toned cover, with clean, functional linework inspired by gears, systems, and motion.
This notebook draws from the work of Henry Ford and Nikola Tesla - figures who redefined how machines are built and used.
On the covers are extracts that capture the shift from craft to system, from isolated invention to mass production.
The cover reflects strength and balance: intersecting lines, repeating forms, and the quiet confidence of load-bearing design.
Inspired by engineers like Gustave Eiffel, William Arrol, and Joseph Strauss, this notebook celebrates the structures that define our landscapes.
On the covers are drawings and excerpts from the works that made modern bridges and towers possible.
The Details that Matter
Made Close to Home
We believe the things you carry should respect the things you care about. So these notebooks are made in the UK, reducing their carbon footprint while supporting local manufacturing
Premium Paper
Inside, you’ll find 7mm lined paper - wide enough for free-flowing thoughts, structured enough for neat calculations. The 80gsm paper resists most pen bleed-through, so you can use your favourite ink without fear.
Outstanding Quality - Crafted in the UK
Everything about these notebooks was intentional. The corners are rounded to slip easily into pockets or bags without snagging, the size, the feel, the quiet durability.
They’re not disposable - they’re companions.
